Thanks for stopping by! We are Janelle & Shaun - a husband and wife team who make a little bit of everything.
Starting in 2009, after the birth of our 5th child, Janelle began sewing baby items such as cloth diapers, baby slings, nursing pads and cloth menstrual products for women. This eventually evolved into sustainable baby clothing such as grow-with-me pants and shirts, dresses, etc. As our children grew older, we began dabbling in jewelry making, bath and body products, and most recently, laser cutting and engraving.
We now have 8 children and a 9th on the way, so our household is very busy. However, we always find time to create, often alongside, and with help and inspiration from our children.
Shaun works a full-time (remote) day job as a Technical Project Manager for a Fortune 500 company, which requires a lot of brain power. In the evening, he enjoys detaching from his screens and getting hands-on with creative projects, whether it's working with resin to create new jewelry pieces, setting up prints on his 3D printer, or creating new products with the laser.
Janelle's previous position as a digital marketer dried up as COVID hit in 2020 and as we were expecting our 8th child so this gave her time to plan the next steps with the business and plan new and future products.
As parents of a large family who have a larger-than-most environmental footprint, we feel passionate about offsetting our footprint by creating sustainable, affordable, ethically-made products that will last for years to come.
